Hope this finds you well. Where are you these days? I've been keeping up with your blog (that killer whale encounter sounds terrifying), but you haven't, which makes tracking your sailing trip just that much harder. Either way, I hope you and Jen are having fun and enjoying yourselves. Must be nice to be able to take a long sabbatical like that, though I don't know that I'd spend mine sailing across the Atlantic and back in a 33' sailboat, if only because I'd probably go stir crazy after the first few days.

Anyway, I just wanted to see where you were and whether you were still on track to dock in Florida in February. I'm starting the apartment hunt again in earnest, and if all goes well, I should be meeting with a realtor this week. I'm guessing that this process will go pretty quickly - you know how this city is. That said, I just want to make sure that I have enough time left in the sublet in case things don't go as planned with the search. Better safe than sorry, right?

Blog more, post more pictures, can't wait to hear all about this adventure when you get back. Drinks are on me.
